Publix Super Markets Charities

The Georgia Tennis Foundation honors its first “Partner in Tennis”, Publix Super Markets Charities! Publix Super Markets Charities joined the Georgia Tennis Foundation as its first partner in tennis in 2003. This partnership gave birth to YMCA Tennis Georgia. As founding sponsor of YMCA Tennis Georgia, Publix Super Markets Charities has been instrumental to the phenomenal growth of this program.

The Georgia Tennis Foundation credits tennis visionary Brenda Reid of Publix Super Markets Charities for YMCA Tennis Georgia’s grand success. In just five years, YMCA Tennis Georgia has grown from a summer program serving 1 YMCA to a year-round program serving 31 YMCAs and introducing over 30,000 children to the sport of tennis.

The Georgia Tennis Foundation salutes Publix Super Markets Charities as Georgia Tennis Foundation’s first “Partner in Tennis” Founding Sponsor of YMCA Tennis Georgia Presenting sponsor of the 2008 Georgia Tennis Hall of Fame Induction and Party with the James Blake and the Bryan Brothers.




Life University

Thanks to the incredible generosity of Life University, the Georgia Tennis Foundation was able to bring professional wheelchair tennis to Atlanta! Serving as presenting sponsor of the Life University Wheelchair Tennis Masters Series for four years, Life University’s dedicated commitment to wheelchair tennis was instrumental to the success of the growth of the growth of wheelchair tennis in Georgia. Life University has led the way for other corporate sponsors to get involved and support wheelchair tennis.

In 2008, Life University will serve as presenting sponsor of the Wheelchair Exhibition during the 2008 Atlanta Slam. Thanks to Life University generous sponsorship, over 7000 tennis enthusiasts will have the opportunity to see wheelchair tennis at its best. In addition, they will gift will also help support community wheelchair tennis in the state of Georgia.

Ansley Golf Club

It is with deep appreciation that the Georgia Tennis Foundation recognizes the Ansley Tennis Pro-Am for its overwhelming generosity and support of Wheelchair tennis. In its fifthteenth year, the Ansley Tennis Pro-Am grew out an idea of Ansley Tennis Pro and Tennis Director; Ronnie Hass. In memory of his mom who died of breast cancer, Ronnie’s vision was to create a top-notch tennis pro-am while at the same time raising money for the Susan G. Komen Foundation. With Ronnie’s dedicated commitment and the volunteerism of the Ansley Golf Club members, the tournament has provided the Georgia Tennis Foundation with over $45,000 on behalf of wheelchair tennis.


Fifth Third Bank

The Georgia Tennis Foundation welcomes its Partner in Tennis: Third Fifth Bank. Eager to get involved in the community, Fifth Third Bank has joined the Georgia Tennis Foundation as a Partner in Tennis to support all aspects of Georgia tennis from juniors to wheelchair tennis. The Georgia Tennis Foundation wishes to thank Mike Dunlap and Jim Kincaid of Fifth Third Bank and looks forward to working together with First Horizon in the years to come on behalf of Georgia tennis.

The Georgia Tennis Foundation salutes Porsche Cars International North America, Inc, as a Partner in Tennis and Presenting Sponsor of wheelchair tennis in Georgia. Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (PCNA), based in Atlanta, GA, and its subsidiary, Porsche Cars Canada, Ltd., are the exclusive importers of Porsche sports cars and Cayenne sport utility vehicles for the United States and Canada.

The Georgia Tennis Foundation salutes Dr. Wolfgang Lindheim and Porsche Cars North America, Inc. for its recognition of the importance of supporting the initiatives that benefit people with disabilities and its generous support on behalf of wheelchair tennis.


Atlanta Falcons Youth Foundation

Thanks to the generosity of the Atlanta Falcons Youth Foundation, the Georgia Tennis Foundation’s signature program: YMCA Tennis Georgia has grown from a summer program introducing disadvantaged children to the sport of tennis into a year-round program. The Georgia Tennis Foundation provides YMCA Tennis Georgia within the Atlanta Falcons Youth Foundation’s designated fitness zones introducing tennis to over 7000 disadvantaged youth a year.

With the Atlanta Falcons Youth Foundation’s primary focus on physical fitness to decrease obesity of Georgia’s youth, the Georgia Tennis Foundation is proud to call the Atlanta Falcons Youth Foundation a Georgia Tennis Foundation Partner in Tennis.

Infinite Energy returns as presenting sponsor of the Infinite Energy Atlanta Slam for the 2nd year in a row! Sponsoring events like the Atlanta Slam allows Infinite Energy a chance to show Atlanta what Infinite Energy stands for. Founded in 1994, Infinite Energy, Inc. has been able to support community and association efforts to form mutually beneficial relationships like that of the Atlanta tennis community.

The Georgia Tennis welcomes Your Serve as a new partner in Tennis! Your Serve Tennis is a leader in tennis specialty retail in the USA.
